superhero miniatures
« on: September 05, 2008, 03:38:25 PM »
Apart from superfigs is there anyone else? Heroclix to me are out of the question as they are too flimsy.

Also are there any companies that make 60s style figures? Our super system campaign will be set in the 60s

Reaper is coming out with some as well in their Chronoscope range. Really nice stuff.

You can also try Lance & Laser. They did a line for the old Villains and Vigilantes RPG. I think they are still a going concern.

If you cut out Heroclix, you're cutting out most of the best superhero sculpts. And they're NOT flimsier than most lead figures.

Jibbery style oinkery which don't make no damn sense.

Superheroes are easy, they can be made from most anything.

Reaper has a dozen or so that work perfectly, Victory Force has some, Lance & Laser are very nice, but be warned some of the older ones are 25mm, not 28mm.

Try Copplestone and Artizan's Kiss Kiss Bang Bang set for civilians.

You might find some older figures on ebay.  Reaper had a Silver age sentinels series.  I may have some of those figures still kicking around actually....
