figures question
« on: September 06, 2008, 01:39:10 AM »
I am not familiar with the various fantasy and medieval lines so I want to pick the brains of those who are. Can anyone recommend a fantasy/medieval piper and rats? I want to build a monument with statuary so the figures need not be realistic. ???

Might be kinda pricey, but I recall Foundry had a "Ratcatcher" figure somewhere in there Victoriana range. Other than that, find a figure you like amd add some rat swarms from GW's Skaven range. ;)

There is Hamelin, but I'm not sure he is what you want for statuary.

Oooh, I lust for that bull terrier miniature...

There are rats a-plenty over at GW. They have rat swarm bases which are quite good but also plastic rats in their Skaven range. For medieval miniatures I would go to the Italian Company Mirliton has a medeival range which is quite lovely. They make this 'Duke's banquet' diorama.

Perhaps the pipers are available separately.

"When to keep awake against the camel's swaying or the junk's rocking, you start summoning up your memories one by one, your wolf will have become another wolf, your sister a different sister, your battle other battles, on your return from Euphemia, the city where memory is traded." - Italo Calvino
