And now for something a little bit different...
« on: December 04, 2014, 08:31:18 PM »
Mars in 10mm!

 :D

My personal shopper got me carried away at Warfare so I had to buy a box of Pendraken Sudan colonials. I thought they'd be too fiddly to paint but they're not too bad, the only hard bit was the basing.

They're a bit of a shit to photograph and they need a flag but fairly happy with them  :)

New Victoria next  :D

Who are they up against?

Ha, all well and good (and they are very good) but speaking as someone who has fallen down this 10mm road a few times will you be able to sustain it as an on going project?  I hope so.

To be fair my interest has waned due to lack of decent models for my needs but these look more than suitable for Mars.

When I read the title  - my first thought was I hope it's not a photo of his dinner. :P

Great figures - Martians?

Probably my Pendraken Frenchies until we sort out the Martians!

Nice start. What's the base size?

James is going on a diet and has chosen smaller figures to compliment his smaller meals  lol

Thanks again gents  :)

Are you losing the plot completely?
Has Dr De'Ath been hypnotising you again?
Does Dobbie know what you are proposing?

Yes, yes and yes  :D

What's the base size?

20mm x 40mm although it might be basing on 20mm x 20mm as smaller square will be easier for columns, squares etc.

Great figures - Martians?

Eventually, yes  :)

cheers

That's the general idea :)

20mm x 40mm although it might be basing on 20mm x 20mm as smaller square will be easier for columns, squares etc.

Fortunately I went for 15mm x 40mm, so at least our units' frontages will be compatible

Excellent, always good to see more 10mm, especially such nicely painted ones.
