HaT Industrie 1:72 Plastics - WW1 East Africa Releases
« on: October 04, 2014, 10:29:40 AM »
I like these, d'you know I do. I'm not crazy about the poses of HaT miniatures a lot of the time, but they're usually pretty accurate and they have a great range of stuff.

Hitting the shops now are -

8268 Askari

8269 Ruga Ruga (nice porters there)

8270 Schutztruppen

Excellent figures with detail and poses that wouldn't look out of place on 28's.
Thanks for the news!

I don't know how the officer got himself an extension to his revolver barrel ... maybe it got excited? Other than that they do look nice, don't they?

I've been waiting for these, I am going to have to buy them. Can't find them listed with any UK online stockists yet though?  Anyone know where I can order from?

Try eBay, but they're only just hitting the shops now so it might be a little while before they're widely available. I also managed to get a picture of the Schutztruppen on the original post.

How similar to the German askari's uniform was the KAR's uniform? Could they be used as both?

Hello,

they are avaible at B-B-T-O-Y-S.de at Wuppertal. I know the shop owner personaly, my orders came anytime quick and correct. The normal distributor in Germany is Faller (Railwaystuff / Houses), but I donīt know if they deliver them to the shops now.

 Hope to help,   Sebastian
