Some Studio Miniatures Zombies .
I've decided that this painting style is very hard to photograph . Everything I try seems to just wash them out . I had better results using natural light but its winter now . :'( At the moment I'm doing some Cowboy Zombies as a LoTOW Outlaw gang using a different method which is working well so far.

I stole somebodies idea about painting the old man as Hef  :D

Looking at the photos I can see some details I should go back and finish better  >:(
These are really lovely figures but a real pain for me to paint satisfactory. I just want them to look ok on the tabletop so these will have to do .

Very nice again, I love the tractors, the buildings look good too, they're often quite boring to paint 8)
Let me hear the battle cry
Calling on the wind
Let me see the banners fly
Before the storm begins

Wow what a collection! I've been thinking about buying the boiler suit apes for the longest time. You've convinced me.  Could you tell us a bit more about this apocolyptic world you're creating? Like how do the monkeys fit in? Are the Euro cops an international force sent in to stop the virus?

This is great stuff.

Hi all , sorry I've been travelling for a few weeks so have not had a chance to look in here.

Kidterminal , my setting is still evolving at the moment . Basically its about 20 or 30 years in the future so I can use modern as well as Future War vehicles and weapons . I really have not worked out a way to use everything I've painted yet . The Cops are a local force controlling a safe area while the gangs are in a more hostile area with lots of zombies and other Aliens poping up . I think the Apes will be part of an experiment gone wrong . Or perhaps the Professor meant to have them as a private army? Should be fun anyway . :D
The buildings are based on some local bars and some I've visited while travelling through Asia . So expect to see some beer bars at some stage . ;D
I'm aiming to fill a 6x4 table with my smaller buildings and if we put a Demo on at a game day use the two big buildings plus my mates ruined Stalingrad buildings to fill out a larger table. I just have to get some more people interested .
I will have a photo of a Plasticville house up soon . I finished it days after returning home . I have also finished a few more Cops (hero and Leader) plus some figures meant as objective markers (hostages and TV crew).
I'm just painting some GW Gouls and some Copplestone/EM4 Bio-Chem troops.

I'm looking for a Van suitable for use as a SWAT truck if anyone has any ideas?

Here in Denmark you can sometimes find some 1:56 scale vans (often already painted as police vehicles) i'd suggest having a look in toy shops and seeing if you can find any.

Just finished another building . I'm having lots of ideas about making them but find it hard to sit down and make them rather than paint figures. This one is based on a local bar called Coyote . It did'nt photgraph very well I'm afraid . :-[

I've just realised that I've been in this place (well, the original) when we visited NZ a few years ago. :o

I just stumbled across this thread and am loving it. But bear with me as I comment on an earlier post...

The Female in underwear is from the Foundry Street Violence line. I just need to come up with a suitably sexy name and rank for her - I know this bitc... er... Lady. Her rank & name is Major Uwanna Peace. We just call her Maj. Peace... outta respect and what-not.  8)

Sorry Overlord I seem to have missed your comment . I had another look at the building in question and am thinking of making some changes to make it more like the real thing. Then I got distracted by all the drunk youths outside and moved on for safetys sake. :o

No worries, it took me 2 months from your initial post to realise I had been there.  ::)
I dont recall any drunk youths outside. But then I'm an old git and was sat inside (it was raining as I recall)  :)

Do you get a monsoon season or something like that down there, Dan?

Always wanted to visit down there. Heard it was beautiful.
