Yes they are, and I miss them so. I still have a spare one hiding in my bits, myself.

Yes, I liked the old German Polizei white and green livery much better than the boring version [even when the nabbed me for being drunk one night in West Berlin, many moons ago  lol]

When I get around to painting a police force, I'm going to use the old Polizei livery along with their khaki and green uniform colour scheme - very similar to yours, but with a brighter green and white hats.

It will remind me of all the great times I had in Berlin  ::)

Are they Copplestone Cops, or by someone else? They look like they would fit well in with "near-future" ranges.

I like your figures, Dan. You have a good painting style there - not overly complicated but very effective on the table I'd bet. The Chinese Zombies are hilarious and the flesh colour looks ok to me. I'm not sure how Chinese Zombies might look. We have plenty of primary [ie Hollywood] evidence for black and white skin tones, but I can't recall seeing Oriental ones  :?

The crew are for the Flamers . The Robot pictured above wont have any crew as he's too small (as you say)

Thanks for the comments . I enjoy painting in that style and they look good on my workbench . However they dont really stick out on a gaming table unless you pick them up. :'( I was a 1/35th scale modeller for a long time so have a more realistic style which is a habit thats hard to break.
The Cops are a mix of Copplestone and EM4 , all mastered by Mark Copplestone.
Now why did'nt I think of having white caps. :-[

Now to turn the clock back a couple of years to the start of the project .
These Future Wars figures are done in a older style when I was learning to paint with Acrylics rather than Humbrol Enamel. They seem to fit in ok with the later painting.

I may repaint some of the figures to fit in with my other units but am happy with them otherwise.

I may take a break from posting pictures for awhile as I wont be around but my Funky Gibbons , Gorilla Guerillas and Proffessor Oddie are being painted at the moment.

You use enamels, now..??  :o

I actually went the other way, from enamels to acrylics (faster dry-times, no fumes, no organic sollubles(?) for cleaning brushes).

I like the negligé on the 4th mini 1st pic very much!

Whats that naked femme fatale with the BIG chainsaw?? (The gun looks GW?)

The naked female is a GW Cruella De Ville or Witch , sorry can't remember exactly. I converted her to carry a Necromunda Pistol and a Chainsaw from a Sentinal . I also removed some of her clothing (think Mankini) I love the figure but did'nt have way of using her till this project.
I really enjoyed doing the Lingerie  ;)

Heh, I do not doubt that - I just wondered if you also liked to play rugby with little metal men  ;)  I feel tempted to buy the game and some minis for it, but I haven't had the money to spare for it just yet...  :-I

I'm a big rugby fan too. I played for 24 years until too many concussions caught up with me  :( "Crash Tackle" is on my list too - maybe a good birthday prezzy next year!

Back to this thread, this is definitely my kinda gang:
