In lieu of someone who has a real knowledge on the topic, I recall the Army wore US style olive drab fatigues and caps,, with M1 (or the similar Soviet type) helmets in either olive green or a stone-like colour. Obviously the fatigues washed out into a variety of shades, which when combined with newer items gave a range from OD to a grey-green. There may have been a lightweight sand-coloured 'summer uniform' too, which could be worn with OD items, especially the M65-type combat jacket.
LBE was a variety and mix of types, with even British '37 pattern making an appearance on occasion. It seems to usually be of a much lighter colour than the uniform usually. Boots appear to have been black.

The Republican Guard 'probably' had US Woodland BDU fatigues, as well as the above... but I wouldn't take just my word for that.
