Making medieval peasant's tools
« on: December 17, 2014, 09:40:41 PM »
Has anybody any ides on how to make medieval peasant's tools, or know of instructional websites, for 28mm figures, please?
Bills and scythes seem straightforward enough but pitchforks flummox me.
cheers

I made this one.

The underlying structure is brass wire.  The outside forks are two separate pieces that I resined together.  Once set I added the center tine and cross support This was covered with green stuff and added to the model.
Here is another example.

Hope that helps.

Ah, that's a big help, thanks.
I hadn't thought of rustic, wooden pitchforks but they were probably more common than metal tined ones.
Thanks for your input.
