Stewart Griffin RIP
« on: December 19, 2014, 02:44:10 PM »
I've just heard the sad news that Stewart, the founder of Griffin Moulds in Birmingham, England died on Monday.

It's a sad loss, and my condolences to his family and friends.  :'(

A truly talented individual and thoroughly nice bloke too.

Didn't know him, but I always enjoyed the products of his work.
Sad news indeed, I wish his family all the best in this sorrowful time.

A real shock. I had worked with him throughout my carrier so far. I found him to be honest and I could always trust to deliver. A real gent I spoke to at least once a month and met quite a few times. He was a legend and he has left a legacy at Griffin Moulds of excellence.

I heard it yesterday. I spoke to him last week and it is a real shock and a very very sad news. From the start he was the man behind our modest participation at the small « wargaming figures producers world ». He was very talented (with all the people of his team) and always true to his words. Really a great man in a small world... All our most sincere condolences to his family and to all the people who loved him.

Extremely sad news as others have said and all the more shocking as Stewart was only 49.
