Hello,

some of you might remember this thread in which I wanted to rectify the wrong accusations directed towards our Winter Wonderland Finland, the true home of Father Christmas:

Well once again Finland might be facing wrongful, even malicious, accusations about ruining the Christmas, even from the whole world!

The current situation snow-wise here is quite delicate, even though some places do have enough snow for skiing and other wintery activities, only few places have managed to reach huge piles of snow and extreme cold weather, like -30C and such.

Now many of you wonder what do this all have to do with the British then and ruining the Christmas. Well, it might be that Santa and his sledge might not get airborn from places where there is very little or snow at all! What about the British then, I hear you still wonder. Well it seems that the current mild weather we have is from the British Isles or thereabouts, that's why... Or was it Northern Atlantic... Ermmm...

Anyhow, as for compensation for possibly ruinimg the Christmas of so many children and adults alike, I demand for retribution and thus call for dibs on Mason's OW terrain and minis, Jimbibbly's Samurai stuff, AndyM's Megacity project (do finish it before sending it), Scrivs' SCW items... I am still to finish the list but will send it shortly to British LAFers.

Thinking about it, this weather whatchamacallit has passed over some other European countries so some of you continental types might get a lis too

Ah, the mildness of Christmas... I blame it all on healthy eating! There would be more snow if only we stuck to a traditional gluten-rich diet.

Think I'll dash off and cut another slice of saffron bread to go with this fine mug of tea.

Retribution? Hah!

You Finnish types with your mild weather and elk chariots and strange unwholesome fish dishes have caused it to rain on Christmas day in the Kingdom of Oz.

We of the Southern Expanses prefer sun, sand and appalling games of beach cricket. And prawns, strangely. Lots of prawns. Nothing says Christmas in Oz more that a steaming plum pudding with hard sauce on a 100 degree (F) day.
