The Taking of Tiger Mountain
« on: December 31, 2014, 07:27:45 AM »
This is part Pulp, part post-Back of Beyond (set in 1947 in China) and part Conflict that came in from the Cold, but I guess this is the best place for it - mods please transfer if I'm wrong.

This is the Chinese trailer to The Taking of Tiger Mountain, in which a few Chinese troops take on a mountainful of bandits armed with a stash of WWII weapons. And this doesn't show the subbed version trailer which has a lot more aeroplane in it:

I have no idea how good (or bad) this is, but it seems to have a good deal of potential for Pulp gaming.

Man, even the Chinese themselves know there always has to be one named Jimmy.  lol

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

I hope they have a good strategy. They'll need it.  ;)

But apart from that, looks promising. I hope they can keep the propaganda/political aspect down - that marred a few interesting Chinese films over the last few years for me.
