just finished re-painting an old figure today. here is a shot of the figure and one of the old figures to compare the jobs.

mostly GW except for vallejo chocolate brown. it has come along. he is very gaming standard but he looks better in real life  ;D

How do you find repainting figures I've often thought about it but then just moved on.

Did you just reapply or remove and redo the whole thing.

I'd be interested to know.

well with this guy since he was already based i just re primed him (notice practically no loss of detail) and well, just re designed the paint scheme. he took one hour altogether excluding priming drying time and i just did 3 highlights for every part. so yeh. nothing special really....

Thanks, you always worry about that loss of detail, but yours look good and only an hour to paint, crikey that is quick.

i rush tbh. hence the scratchy looking highlights etc. and i rarely wait for colors to dry.  :D because im naughty like that.  lol

Just repainting some more figs, got a pic of pre painting stage.
there are different manufacturers.

show girl coming first probably. (her dress is the most awesome thing to paint and at 75p shes a stupid ass thing not to buy)
