COOL AND CREEPY! For moi, that is a SPLENDID combination. I love the colors you came up with for creature creation. The Scaly Guy would make a FINE SciFi mini as well. GREAT WORK!

Great job!  I love seeing more antimatter stuff painted.  I am a big fan of the scaly horde myself, so I will say that the mangler is not the strongest sculpt in the range.  You have done a good job with it though!  Any more planned?

I understand. I just need to understand the light in the water instead of zenithal light....

So, another deepwars big Steel-jaw Placoderm fish :

I like the light color around the edges of the upper scale plates :)

I think they look great! The caustics that make the light pattern only really appear near the surface as they get diffused at depth. If you are painting the figure at any moderate depth it would have a fairly uniform lighting due to water scattering the downwelling light. A sharp zenith highlighting or priming before painting is okay for near the surface but deeper down you can just use a regular primer and a less pronounced zenith highlighting.

Nice, good colour transitions and the electrical shockwaves look great.  Each mini keeps getting better!
