This looks a fabulous movie.  The battle scenes look well-done too (and no air-burst explosions in sight!).  Here are a couple of screenshots of the naval action (there are more screenshots on my blog above):

I saw it yesterday and it was quite sectaculaire.A lot of massive naval battles  (5/6 battles) the 4 day battle alone was over 16 minutes! The scale of this movie was great (you would expect it to have been a 100.000.000 budget but it wasn,t by far)

CGI was great, I really enjoyed it, I can really recommand this one!!

A bit off topic but here's a link to a documentary on the period.  It's got a lot of good costumes and a few computer animated naval battle sections.
