republican romans
« on: January 08, 2015, 04:04:00 PM »
i finished these last year but only got around to posting them up today, they are the wonderful victrix romans, easy to paint
and not a bad price either, the large bases with pilum/ javelin are the principes and the smaller bases with hasta/ spear are the triarii
thanks for looking

Good painting and especially nice basing.  I still have a load of these on the painting table but got distracted by other things...

thanks for the comments lads, these figs are easy enough to paint thanks to the superb sculpting even though they still took me 5-6 weeks to paint but worth it i think

Great job.

Great job - Victrix does a very nice figure.   Am now quite impatient for their Carthaginians.

Wow. Very nice indeed!
Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

Inspiring collection of Rep. Romans. 8)

About to start painting a 15mm scale Xyston Carthaginian war elephant, this collection is just the shot in the arm I need to get going.
