X Wing laser towers for 15mm?

Spotted these in the FLGS and with hindsight am wondering if anyone has used them for 15mm bunkers etc? I suspect they may work as long as you are in "squint" mode and not too fussy regarding exact ground scale?

I don't see why they wouldn't work as generic gun turrets for 15mm.
