Song of Drums and Tomahawks at Siege of Augusta (GA, USA)
« on: January 16, 2015, 03:54:25 AM »

I'm packing my stuff up to get ready for the weekend trip to Siege of Augusta in Georgia, USA. This is the first stop of a pretty full convention schedule for my new wargame company, First Command Wargames. We'll be running both my French & Indian War rules and our Victorian Science-Fiction/Colonials rules. Anyone attending, stop by my "Ohio Frontier Aflame" game in the afternoon session on Saturday. I will be running 12 feet of French & Indian War goodness, with four cool scenarios on the table at the same time. French, British, Settlers, Indians all face off in a struggle for the Ohio Valley.

I will have printed copies of the rules, Song of Drums and Tomahawks, for sale there at $15 each. Come on out and play, or at least stop by to say Hi!

The visit to Augusta, Georgia, went well. All 8 of the slots for my Song of Drums and Tomahawks event were filled, and four other people scribbled in names as alternates. I received lots of compliments on the look of the game. My players said they had fun, too -- probably the most important part!

The visit was made special by the chance to chat with LAF member Valerik. I was complimented that he said he made the visit to see my set up. We had a great time talking, and he stayed, watched, and even helped players with the rules. Great guy! He bought a copy of the rules and asked me to autograph it...ha, ha! First autographed copy of any of thing I've done that I can remember.  lol

I'll post a link to the AAR when I get it uploaded....
