Well, it finally came together. I'm very happy to report that all of the Russian lead is painted. I think they make quite a sight.

Reply to questions -

i'm currently bringing the Austrians up to strength, and I have just four more Prussian units to do to finish them too.

I'm going to do 'civilian' limbers (for any army, civilian drivers) and pontoon train in a similar manner for the combined collection - as a fudge. I already have the baggage train which you can see here being used for Zorndorf -

This is one expensive addition which I'm happy to 'nationality fudge' by painting wagons in natural wood and giving civilian crews. Although not accurate, I'd rather cut my cloth than have no cloth at all on these additions.

I'm also knocking out a few 72 man pike squares for the Italian Wars, and the odd unit for supports of course, then, well, then I can start my Peninsular War project.

Coach is scratch - Foundry nags and ECW driver, Christmas cards, Irregular wheels, Miliput, and paint

Not bad, for a quick hatchet job.

Absolutely stunning army. Too bad you live in Yorkshire,we have a SYW convention in South Bend Indiana in late March, Christopher Duffy will be there. You would enjoy it. Oh and the Cossacks just hang on the flank to force your opponent to peel off a couple of units to watch the Cossacks,but you are right worthless.
