« on: January 17, 2015, 09:28:57 AM »
Hi all,
been a while since last I posted...been working on Christmas castles and a couple of C.S.S./U.S.S. Atlanta inspired casemate style ironclads...
I am still using foamcore, cardboard, plastic card/tube and household odds and ends to scratch build these

I still need to weather this one, but am waiting until i finish it's running mate to do them both at same time.
Thanx for lookin!!

WOW, nicely DONE. Excellent detailing on that scratchbuild.

A couple of questions: How did you do the rivets? And what did you use for the cannon?

Thank you Everybody!!..
the scale I would guestimate is 20-28mm compatable...i'll post a pic tomorrow when i get home with a figure onboard and you can tell me...
here is a pic of the monitor style units with a 28mm skeleton

....and this monitor is just a little over maybe a third of the size of the casemate
