Those are fabulous! What are going to use them for? Some specific skirmish project you are aiming at? I always look for an excuse to use ships in scenarios  :)

Thanx!!

No, I don't actually game...wrong brain  lol...I just build and sell/trade...

My son finally got into Warhammer40K a few years ago and I was sticker shocked at some of the items and decided to put my artistic skills together with the fact that I like to work with my hands and just build some items for him, and it has snowballed into the items i have posted on this site and here...

Right now it is just a hobby, but I am building up inventory as I go...and learning, learning, learning...mostly from y'all here on the site, but I do float around the net to see what's going on.

So how do you do those rivets?

I joined my gun with pirate swords, and sailed the seas of cyberspace.

Thanx Barry S!!

So how do you do those rivets?

Well, to be honest, i use puff paint.....3D fabric paint...it has a really tiny applicator tip and is good for me as I'd drive myself crazy cutting down plastic rod for the individual rivets and this stuff saves me some time.....they are not always uniform, but with a little practice they can trick the eye.
They are applied by simply squeezing the bottle to get a small round blob and ya pull straight up to get a pointed rivet, apply slightly larger than needed as it will shrink a bit.
The paint must be some kind of acrylic as it dries to a rubbery consistency...oh and if working on porous materials such as cardboard or wood. it can be drawn in requiring a second dab on top of the first.

Lovely ships and really like the puff fabric paint idea for rivets.

lol FramFramson!!..
.
thanx Golgotha...
I wish i could take credit for that idea, but I originally got it from this site...
http://antonswargame.blogspot.com/2012/07/protected-cruiser-scratchbuilt.html
...he also did not fathom slicing and dicing rod to glue on every single rivet separately.
Like I said earlier...I'm the noob learning from y'all gents that have been doing this way before me...and I bow to my teachers...
