People often ask me if I have a miniatures focused website, so I broke down and started a blog as a sort of New Year's resolution. It will be pretty eclectic- the first few posts include North African buildings, Retro Sci-Fi, and bell tents.

Even if I receive no traffic it will help me keep track of what I paint.

Scenery building info would be good, I always like your stuff. Any painting tips would also be great! Stuff like painting details such as the turbans and tunics on the figures above, for example. They're incredibly crisp!

No problem, I'm working on some mud brick walls now, I'll take some WIP shots.

Next in line on my Darkest Africa project is Baluchis, they'll have some stripes so I'll do a WIP on that too. I pretty much use the same method as Captain Blood. I believe he has a nice tutorial somewhere- it may have been the spiral stripe on lances?
