Continuing my new year motivation, here's a few more of the current crop I'm working up.
Firstly - I'm slowly knocking up with Heroforge + digital conversion + actual sculpting some homages to the original Rogue Trader sculpts I love (that I can't belive no one has knocked off in 15mm).
One of my absolute favourites is the Space Eunuch - such a silly mini, he's everything I love about Rogue Trader.
Here's my take (apologies - on my laptop screen I can see these are a touch out of focus)
Mostly created in Heroforge, I made his bottom half nude then digitally added the belt, kneepads and codpiece myself in Meshmixer. When it came to painting, I had to go for the classic scheme from the Rogue Trader poster (he's in the middle, labelled 'Scum'):
All in all, a really handy character.
Whilst I had the red out, I boxed off my take on Simon Roy's version of John Prophet, from the really excellent Image comics reboot.
This was pure Heroforge except the blade, that I altered in meshmixer.
I'm *really* pleased with this mini - he's meant to be the very first Prophet we meet, on earth, before he finds his dolmantle - and I think I've captured the slight Conan-in-space vibe that Simon Roy gives him.
I wasn't perfectly faithful to the uniform but I'm chuffed regardless.
Incidentally if you haven't read Image comics' Prophet you should - it's proper bonkers multi-verse sci-fi. Nothing down to earth here. I get a new idea every time I turn a page.
Next up I'm aiming for a group of 5-10 muties - in the 2000ad/Strontium Dog vibe. Folks to cause trouble in dusty space towns.
