Those chairs are awesome. I would never have thought of that.
Looking for a set of rules that adaptable for different genres.

For labels, a soak in soapy water, possibly followed by some goo-gone.  It's a citrus based goo remover that's fairly cheap and works well.

For the black undercoat, cheap hardware store spray paint works fine.  That plus a quick drybrush may be faster (not counting drying time) overall than a heavy silver coat.

Those chairs are awesome. I would never have thought of that.
I was just thinking the same thing!  Around here, they're usually made of polypropylene which is annoying to paint, but the Krylon series of Camo and "Fusion" plastic spray paints stick really well.

Thanks Guys!
The Cheapo Black and Grey spray primer I get from our Poundland Stores does a good enough job for these rough jobs I do!

I use better stuff on the Minis themselves.

Here are some more piccies of the table I've set up for tomorrow.
Sorry about the very long range shots and excuse the mess in the room! :D

The Tropical Castle of Doom!

And the Master Himself!

There are over 80 of the Terminator Robots on this table!

Let's see the FF get in here then? >:(

Woof. I mean, just woof...

(Made from a smashed up Deep Space 9 Kit!)

A noble sacrifice made good!

Wait a minute! I see Atlantis parts! THOSE are only for VSF!!!   lol

No, I'm back to just...

Woof.

Breathtaking. A great, inspirational layout with terrific use of junk and toys. I feel my fingers itching to do some trash bashing.

More Piccies of Tropical Base Doom Defences and a CyberTrike

I know it's a Transformer but I managed to pick up 3 of them at £2.99 each and they fit into my Atlantean Automaton army really well. Guess What? They all still need panelling in red and weathering!

Plus they are enormous!

Do you think there are enough palm trees?

You know, there's a lotta love around these parts for Transformers, so I suppose you shouldn't apologize, but I don't see it. However, that one massive succeed blots out a lot of bad memories. Heck, those are ginormous, AND gorgeous!

Damn impressive, and just as they are now.Great Bronzen Beasts for Fantasy, arcane mechanisms for VSF, and great on the ground Future Wars. Whole lotta love for three quid. ;->=

Definitely should be an inquiry; I dare say a black mark on the fortresses commander's record.

However, for an enemy actually getting up to a battle instead of just a slaughter, should be right.  :)

Thanks!

By the way, I can see Velma at university, but Shaggy?  ;)

Oh God Yes :D

We actually got two games in tonight in two and a half hours and that was with trying out new rules added to the much abused "One Page Rule system" We use found online by a friend.

“ONE PAGE FANTASY SKIRMISH” by John David Slor

Very adaptable and we have heavily.

It was two nil to the visitors. But we had a real good laugh. Mainly at my inability to roll High dice when needed and then Low dice when needed.

Next week I intend to use them as they were supposed to be with Saurian Infantry from Indyclix rebased.

Piccies as I pose them and then when we play!

I'm adding the Army of Atlantis (Or at least part of it) Plus SHED when I get the miniatures together here.
The Atlantean Army I've been building over the Years, has grown to become a mainstay of mine.

The Figures can be used in Victoriana, PULP and Future Wars thus I felt alright posting the Army of Atlantis here.
There are more figs in the army from Warmachine, Copplestone, Foundry and Wargods but I've just got the Automatons and their main Infantry placed out here. Mainly Indyclix Saurian Trropers and Heroclix Parademons and Scouts rebased.

Lots of Cheapo Robot toys and some Mageknight steam golems with Reaper Iron Golems and Brass Cannon Added.

Anyway on with the Piccies! (SHED will follow!)

Sorry about the Piccies still getting used to the camera and light conditions.

Here are the raised bridges I made from Domino boxes and Jenga blocks with more bigger jenga block stairs (oversized but fit most figure bases to stand on)

I originally had these to connect the upturned box lids of my AD&D Dungeon tiles sets.

SHED Personnel Internal Security team (Deadbolt) and some ladies from converted Heroclix.

SHED have an external base Security team known as Padlock as well. :D

Some Hydra Minis which sometimes get press ganged into Base attacking or defending.

And I know the Missile needs more work. But the miniature was part of a 99p set that the derrick style watchtowers and some Palm Trees came with in the previous photos of the thread.

There were also some truly awful armymen figures as well. (Binned as even charity didn't want them)

One of my latest add ons. More free standing pressure type storage vessels.

I may still add on bits here and there to these! (I have 2 identical pieces) They are as you can see works in progress. :)

Made from a cement mixer lorry it's motor (pullback let go style) and bits of an audio cassette recorder!
