Skeleton Warband for SBH
« on: September 17, 2008, 08:21:09 PM »
Started these after I downloaded Song of Blades and Heroes last weekend, finished them today. Just a basic build- and paintjob, using whatever skeleton-parts i found lying around (after I sold all my fantasy stuff a few years ago). Tried to stay somewhat historical with the shield design... :D

Hope you like?  :)

Really like the colours you've used for the bones.

Nice stuff.
I don\'t know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Yup, what are those, please?

That might be the smallest cavalry-base I've ever seen  :)

Totally superb! :o Are those the "new" or "old" (ie 1980s/90s) GW plastic skeletons?

On the shield designs, I assume they are undead vikings?!? Now that will give those Ninja pirates a run for their money! lol

Judging by the size of the weapons/hands, they are the 'middle' ones..? I think a new set of skeletons came out lately?

Beats me. Usually, I know those GW skellies, but I cannot really tell the 1997/98 Vampire Count ones from either the Tomb Kings of 2002(?) or those new ones you talk of. But yes, the good old ones had smaller hands.

Thanks guys!
These are the older GW skellys. Paint job was a bit rushed, so its only white undercoat with a wash of GWs new "Devlan Mud".
As for the base, I just couldn't find a bigger one  o_o
