British Artillery
« on: January 31, 2015, 01:15:19 AM »
Hello
Artillery has always been not my cup of tea.....i mean when i must choose and organise my  wargame pieces..
So please may i ask to somebody who play colonial 28mm with less flamboyant castings and for a penchant for making Armies on low budget to solve 2 of my current dilemmas:
a) i should have one or two of those guns...old Minifigs model  but OK for me..but it's  simply labelled "Field Gun CF A 4"" on their catalogue..and no pict provided
http://www.miniaturefigurines.co.uk/Catalogue.aspx?ScaleID=3&CategoryID=20&SubCategoryID=136
to what do they refers?...a zulu war or a boer war piece?..and which calibre (so i can find then a pict on the web to understand how to build it)..
b) i would like to purchase the Perry Plastic box of ACW Guns/Limbers/Crews....as i could find use, into my Risorgimento/FPW Armies for both guns and crews..but the main idea would be to use those 3 precious and cheap limbers for my Colonials....could they be ok..or passable for Zulu Wars or Boer Wars British gun teams?
thanks in advance for your suggestions
