It's a cutter which lets you cut lots of things to a set length. Good for all those repeat items, means you only have to measure once, set the cutter and away you go.

A bit of detailing.

First the hatch into the Pipeway workings.

Bit of cork, 25 x 50 pill base, bit of copper rod, press stud and a window made from Fenris grating.

Stick, stick, drill, stick, stick...

Ta-da! Hatchway.

Blood drain pipes from cash register roll centres cut to different size. I'm going to have to extend the base to accommodate the enlarged blood reservoir but, so what? You can never have too big a blood reservoir.

Games Workshop thingy to adorn the front.

More details.
First the Chimney housing.
The resin base is one from Fenris. They come with miniatures I buy and I never use them as bases but I keep them for occasions such as this where they are a painless way to add detail to a build. In this case a vent of some kind, nothing too specific but it looks like it does something.

Some blocks of foam (I never use foam normally) and some skeleton bits (bought from ebay) form the foundation of the ash pile. Once everything's dry I'll add fine grit to texture it.
