This is the link for the columns I bought http://www.cerfdellier.com/pieces-montees/6340-colonnes-grecques-technicake-18-cm-x4.html. They also have shorter ones (12.5cm). The price is difficult to beat and delivery was fast.

Yes, nearly 400 tiles (!) Had I anticipated how much work this would represent, I might have taken a shortcut. They're made out of a hard cardboard. It was tedious to imprint the pattern on them and my fingers are aching.

Anyway, the flooring is done now:

I'm also including a picture of the build at an earlier stage but with most elements together. This should give a better idea of how the final piece will look:

I won't post any updates for a while as I'm going on holiday for a week.

This is looking excellent. Lovely work on the brazier. This could be used for horror, Pulp, WWWII, etc.

The model is coming along and I think your hard work at texturing will pay dividends when you start to paint it - particularly when you start drybrushing.

Thanks for the comments.

I came back from holiday yesterday, and spent essentially the whole day today on the build. As I'm getting a bit bored of it, I decided to stop faffing around and get the thing done, at the cost of cutting a few corners.

It's nearly there apart from a few details and a paintjob. It helped that I managed to nick some insulation foam from a building site, as I was previously using fairly poor styrofoam from some random packaging.
