Phlog update: More Hospitallers

I finally took some photos today and made a few posts to my photo log to catch up on what I've been painting for the last little while.

First, finishing up my Viking and Pict forces for Saga:



Next, the start of some Romano-British for Dux Britanniarum:



And finally, a band of Hospitallers for Saga: Crescent & Cross:

The Hospitallers are 15mm Legio Heroica miniatures.

That's right, Legio Heroica for the Crusaders, Splintered Light for the Picts and Romano British, and Khurasan for the Vikings (not shown here, but on my blog).

The spears on the mounted sergeants are not the ones that came from Legio Heroica, I replaced them with wire spears. The original ones are nice enough, but I wanted something less prone to bending.

Very nice! They go together very well. Love to see SAGA played in 15mm, will follow your blog.

I have added a few more figures to my 15mm Crescent & Cross force:

...and some commanders, a standard, a priest, and a trumpeter.




The end of this project is well in sight, with only two more units of mounted Hearthguard left. And not a single figure left to go into my unpainted box!

I have finished my 2 units of Hearthguard, and thus my warband!





That's 8 units and commanders, ready for battle. Now they get packed back on the shelf until my lovely wife finishes her Saracens, and my friends their warbands.
