Fair enough.
Some questions for everyone who wants to be involved?
How many people are interested in playing?
Who has any ships or figures we can use?
Has anybody got any suggestions or ideas of things they would like to see in the game?
Who want to volunteer to help GM the game?

Colin, I'll throw my lot in with you and GM a table. :)

Do we only need three tables, how about four?  ;D

I have a homebrew set of rules that worked fairly well at Enfilade last year for six players with one GM (me) - I could email those to you if you were interested.  See if they work for you...I posted photos last year.

Looks like he's a member here as well, under the FifteensAway moniker, so you might try sending him a private message (could be a small "a" for away).

Here's a link to his blog, which has lots of info (assuming it still does anyway), about the vessels, terrain, minis, etc.:

http://carobbeansea.blogspot.com/

This was a very large group project that we worked on to get ready for the conventions.  It was run in both Sacramento, and the SF-Bay Area/San Jose.

A lot of people helped to paint the terrain, buildings, minis, etc.

There were two tables, each 24' x 6', so it appears I've been spinnin' exaggerated, an' understated yarns agin.

Arrrrr, I blames de rum, dreams o' women, Madeira wine, an' me advanced ol' age, which is unusual fer an ol' salt like me, bein' a pirate, an' all.  Many o' me maties has been ta Davy Jones Locker far too early fer der own good, but dat's a pirate life fer thee.

Here's another blog with some nice pics of the table, ships, towns, etc.:

http://twotharksonecup.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Apparently, these pics are from our earlier playtest, at one of the libraries in town.

Here's a link to the pics of the convention game run in Sac, in early 2012:

Count me in.  I have 3 ships completed (and a 4th under construction) and about 150 pirates with about 30 redcoats.  I also have a port, cliffs and a town.
