This tachanka - sample 1925. Suitable only for the inter-war period and the beginning of World War II.

Even if apparently the carriage is too modern (?) it's good enough for me! Nice.

I think Cuprum was saying that even with a headswap, the uniforms would be too new for RCW.

I don't know about the carriage itself... it might be okay, and even if it's some sort of "New design" carriage, I don't think anyone's going to notice or care.

For Pulp or VSF the horses could be removed and an old engine added.....

The helmets are a small issue, and the uniforms have shoulder boards, so they would need to be shaved off for Reds.

I believe Cuprum's problem is that the carriage is the purpose-built type used the Soviet military long after the RCW.

RCW ones should converted civilian ones, which will have back seats, doors, lower foot wells etc. And not have the military style storage units.

Is that correct Cuprum?

Here is the civic cart adapted for military purposes - tachanka the Civil War in Russia:

And looks specially designed for military purposes tachanka Red Army of the sample in 1926 (I a little mistake with the date in the first message):

As you can see - the difference is absolutely obvious.

Wow!  :o

That's something completely different! But still, lacking a decent alternative. They say the Eureka tachanka is really small.
I never understood why Copplestone didn't do one. With all these brilliant obscure vehicles he released.

Ah, that does make a lot of sense. I didn't realize they were purpose-building the things after their heyday.

I wonder how much use they saw in WWII?

I've found the Eureka Tchanka is just fine. It's a bit small, but not so you'd notice. Fits in perfectly with my Copplestone stuff

The Eureka taczankas are very nice and perfect for the RCW period without needing any modification.

I always find it very interesting when things like this are released and the response is something like "Wow, finally!" when a vehicle appropriate for the RCW has been available from another dealer for years.

nice I like those early war helmets
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it anymore and what is it seems weird and scary.
