His uniform's a little different, but if you filed off his kneepads and shirt pockets and then added a "Z" disc and shoulder pads out of greenstuff, he should work a treat!

Doesn't matter if his uniform is different - he's an officer.

What's the difference between officers and men ?
Men wear the uniforms they are given, officers wear the uniforms their tailors make.

Much depends on the type of force, it's traditions, standing orders, the wishes of its political masters etc, but it's a fair point.

Certainly British Army Officers buy their own kit, but Police and Fire Service etc don't. I always assumed that choice was more an option in democracies rather than far right/left dictatorships. The painted figure looks great with no mods, so that's what matters really.

Fair enough, but the Chief Constable doesn't usually look like a front line plod.


These are nifty enough figures though. Interesting paint scheme.
