you are rgiht my friend.
One idea, one scenario and 1h30 hours of fun to resolve the situation !

At the end, you get the next story or a new story (to deal with your narrative or imagination) with a new plot or an unexpected situation !

 ;D

The players give the rythm of your story.

Back to the Business about the Saga Fergusson.

I have to create some scenarios to give me time to build my Huron Camp (here) for a masterpiece scenario in a near future.

We fought last Friday 2 scenarios : "Operation Revenge" where a joined force of colonial militia and rangers raid the Huron territory with the combined objective to retrieve the Fergusson women and to get revenge about the Huron indians....That's the main lines of the story.  :D

In fact, the real objective of these to scenarios, is to give attrition on the invasion force for the main battle against the Huron camp.

The battle report will be available soon on my blog  ;)

Wow...bloody battle! It happens, sometimes. We've played the same scenario and had all possible outcomes with the rules -- overwhelming victory for one side, overwhelming for the other, and a tight struggle.

As for doors, I don't bother with them for the Indian longhouses or wigwams. They were just leather or cloth and were often rolled up out of the way. I can sympathize with the player who forgot his figures inside, though! I have done that more than once in a game...ha, ha!  lol

Great battle report, Eric!

To add to the adventure about the Fergusson Saga, i have painted some more new troops.....

some indians (and my first Old Glory ones in this range) :

Some spiritual force , with my idea of a jesuit missionary (Perry's conversion) :

and few young warriors with the excellent Footsore Miniatures Skraeling Range (all converted from the original) :

that' for mike's game "Song of Drums and Tomahawks"   ;), where i need some guys with heavy weapons....

and bowmen too :

More idea about conversion, right here on my blog (use the translate button, to get the feel of the blog)

the next step, coulb be more indian civilians but there 's few on the marketplace.....
i'll need to make my brain work   :P

enjoy

Those look great! We seem to be painting in parallel, mon ami!

I have not done a lot of painting lately, but what is one the desk right now are 8 Old Glory Indians with bow. I need more for our Beaver Wars in Ohio campaign playtest, and a friend picked up a ton at a flea market for $1 each. I also have been painting Footsore Mininatures Skraelings, too. You did an amazing job on the weapons conversions. I like how your weapons turned out better than my own.

I can't wait to read the next installment on the story!

Hey mike,
Thank you for your kind comments.
My tomahawks are from a Conquest sprue.
My heavy weapons are home made with a piece of lead cut of from a figurine base and shape as a heavy weapons.Simple but efficient !

Cheers

You already have a fast reloader or at least a running reloader in Simon Kenton character in SODT.
Might be usefull to get an idea.

How goes the Fergusson Saga...? I miss the updates...! Will those poor captives ever get rescued...?

Of course, I'm a fine one to talk! I spent half the summer overseas, and am now buried in getting all my ducks in a row for this year's classes and my new batch of kiddos. I have lots of gifted and advanced students, and I love pushing them to delve deeper into the curriculum. So, prepping that cuts into my gaming time... :'(

Hope things are well with you, mon ami!
