Greetings from the frigid interior of the United States
« on: February 24, 2015, 12:45:38 AM »
New member. Wanted to make a proper introduction. Hailing from the 'fly over' part of the US (Bloomington, Indiana), I'm a life long miniatures addict who got his start during the great gaming boom of the late '70s. More modeller than gamer these days (though I still game and ever so occasionally hit one of the big conventions) I find few folks in my neck of the woods that shares the same miniatures enthusiasms. Thanks to the wonders of the internet though I found this forum and having lurked a bit and read some of the back threads, this looks like a fine group of hobbyists with a positive vibe with whom to share my fondness for miniatures.

Like most I've spread my interests around at different times, but over the past 15 years or so I've confined (if that would be the correct word for a 700 year span) my interests to historical armies of Europe and the British Isles from about Alfred the Great to The Italian Wars of the 16th C.

Its nice to be aboard.

Cheers,
Fred
