Geek beside the seaside March 14th & 15th

Not a wargames event but the second "Sci-Fi Scarborough" convention

Last year all the Red Dwarf team were in attendance, but this year Saturday is being themed as "Star Wars Saturday" (Dave Prowse is attending).

Apart from the usual crowd of costumed Cosplay people (loads of Wonder Women last year, and a squad of MC1 judges) there will be a room for gamers, tables manned by Scarborough Games Society (amongst others).

Local theatre is supporting this by screening "Back to the Future" I, II, III, all three parts one after the other on Friday 13th March.

Not sure that I could cope with 6 hours of Marty McFly in one day.

Just been down to help set up tables in the gaming room.

The hall next door has a whole set of TV21/Gerry Anderson models/props/costumes.

Space1999, Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds, Hitchhikers Guide, UFO, The Secret Service, Space Precinct.....

All in one room.

I'll see if I can find a digital camera. By tomorrow....
