Flashheart and the Martians (IHMN AAR)
« on: February 18, 2015, 08:58:47 PM »
Well it had to happen in my games room, brilliant game and afternoons entertainment.

What a game madness I know Martians . flying saucers  heat rays sonic cannons,  Flaming cows , giant bugs and a lady in a tin bath.
We both enjoyed and laughed so much again IHMN is brilliant afternoons entertainment, and Flashheart  is a true hero he lasted alone against 7 Martians in the end and  won the  game.

As always dedicated to the late great Rik Mayall,

Looks like great fun, I'll be using my Martians (which only finally turned up from the KS last week!) for VSF too. I think I'll paint them silver or bronze rather than the traditional teal.
Do you find in skirmish games like this that by keeping your troops in groups of twos or threes you can overpower individual opponent miniatures? Playing as Savvies in Necromunda I outnumbered most other gangs at least 2-1, if not 3-1, and I simply sent the filthy grots around in small bands, and no single character could match them. Just looking at that poor, solitary Brit getting gang-bashed by a trio of Martians reminds me of that sort of thing.

IHMN ganging up does  have advantages, but if your opponents character is skilled he can try to hit all  opponents also we found in that game some times  ganging up left gaps in other combats, Flashheart did take out most of his opponents outnumbered and alone in that scenario...
