Big Sky Wasteland
« on: February 19, 2015, 10:02:04 PM »
Hey guys I've been lurking for quite a while and have got tons of inspiration from all of you who post here. Thought I should give back by sharing what I've got so far. Most of this can be found on this site already but I'm giving my take on it. Waiting on my brother Vinny ant power armor minis to get here as well as the Scotia Grendel power armor units. Also my hirst arts sci fi molds. Thanks and enjoy!

Having read that I kinda laughed to see just one picture.
But it does make me hopeful to see more  :D

There's more coming just getting the sizing right for the forum on the pics.

If you get a photobucket account or link via facebook you don't need to resize them.  :)
(Just make sure you don't remove them from facebook, a couple of my threads have pleasant little missing image boxes instead of impressive piles of half-bothered putty.)

Is it just my mobile or is the picture giant?

Cool !
now, please tell me you didn't freehand that "101" back number or else I'll feel ashamed for my custom decals order...

Glad some of you are digging it! Yes I did free hand the 101. Just took my time and I don't have a steady hand and that's showing on my Fawkes sculpt. I'm scared to see how the face turns out. Just got an email saying my Vinny models shipped out along with the hirst arts molds. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a lot more to show. Thanks for looking.

YAY! more fallout goodness. Nice to see some scratch built terrain.

Planning on rusting up that metal work? I find a mix of burnt umber and burnt sienna is a good start. Stippling helps add a little texture and rust pitting too.  ;)

I just received a package of Vinni models myself (long over due  ::) - i finally caved), Glad you have some on the way! Perhaps a chat with MessyArt can get you some monsters :D

Cheers
Matt

Ooh, a super mutant sculpt? Are you doing the entire model or is it being converted from something?

Pure sculpt. If I like how it looks I'll post some pics. Just got the legs done.

Well it's a good start. What're you gonna equip him with?
(I've made a couple of sledges, one a little bit more super than the other. I can rush the casting stage for prototypes if you want?)
