Yup, sculpted by Michael Perry too. What's not to like. A lovely figure.

Of course, would love to get my hands on one of these to go alongside(?) Simon de Montfort.

Would be even happier if there was a range for the Barons war off the back of some of these figures..  ;)

What an absolutely stunning figure! It would fit in perfectly with my current "Knights of Edward I" project.

Unfortunately, seeing as I live across the pond, there looks like there will be no way for me to get my hands on this baby  :'(.

Does anyone know if these may become available purchase after Salute 2015?

I most certainly hope so!

Longshanks. I heard that the figure is also meant to be available at Historicon. This seems to be MWs practice the last few years, having the free figure available at both Salute and Historicon. Start saving  :D

edit: Sorry. I did mean Wargames Illustrated. My bad :?

Please take a look at the Wargames Illustrated Facebook page. MW refers to Miniature Wargames, no relation.

This will be the ONLY figure that is exclusive to the subs deal at Salute 2015.

lovely mini- is the heraldry sculpted on?

It looks as though it is but my reading specs are down stairs (and I'm sated from a rather large meal- a bit like Edward might have been at times really!

It looks to me as though the heraldry is sculpted into the shield only.  :)

The surcoat and caparison appear to be freehand. Cubs'll know, drop him a pm.

I'll wait a bit and see if he reads this first.  :)

the shield looks like it has had the heraldry sculpted I agree, I couldn't maker it out on the surcoat but the caparison has been painted freehand- I know- I've painted plenty of heraldry in my time!

Darrell.
