I've written the rules up so anyone should be able to understand them although there may be small revisions before a final version appears. Since most of the work for these was by Bryan Ansell I'm not selling them but if you'd like a copy please PM me your email or email me direct at prdward@gmail.com (preferable, I can just hit 'reply' then) and I'll post one out.

The rules include the playsheet (corrected from the one posted here) and a pair of sample character cards. The cards don't need to be elaborate, we used hand written ones back in the day, but I've included a couple to show what information I've put on them.

Thanks for the encouragement :)

I've uploaded all the card and final play sheet artwork here (12 cavalry still to do and then it's off to the printers).

The rules are now on my site along with the corrected play sheet for free downloading:
http://www.matakishi.com/apps/documents/

I'm getting the last of my miniatures early next week and, once I've photographed them and made their cards, all the card artwork will be turned into proper playing cards by Artscow.
In the meantime I've made a small set of makeshift cards so I can have a few games.
The first one will be tonight  :D

Cool burger!

Ichecked the arts cow page but couldn't quite locate an option for blank cards of your own design. Only 54 standard paying card decks.

I use this option. You can remove the card suit markings as part of the design process. Each card face can be different. The quality is excellent, I've used it for other games.

We had a little skirmish involving stealing some wagons.

The marauding British were just beaten off by the resilient French.

The rules have been slightly revised in light of the game and a new version has been made available for download along with a revised play sheet.

As always, you're one effective game machine (I know, you didn't paint the minis, but there is efficiency in that approach as well!). Thank you for the Art Cow link! I might use it when I photograph some for my game further on :)

I painted everything in the game report so some of it's my own work :)
270 cards are being printed as we speak...
