Here's my Spanish village ready for tomorrow's game. I spent today and yesterday making the walls.

There's a G+ gallery of big images here (much bigger than the example below):

Going to be a great game
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Thank you, not bad for a week's work :)
Here are some photos of yesterday's game (the bloody French won again).

A strange shooting match that left many injured and nobody dead...

Poor Mr Sharpe bit the dust again...

I've got a load of those railway accessory 'tiles'. 'walls' etc just waiting for me as soon as i've moved- there will be a major upsurge in productivity for my own collection as i have temporarily but Painting for Others (TM) on hold!

Yay! :)  8)

Looks fun may have to give it a go once I've finished my current Peninsular Division project. Really like the buildings as well, I assume the core buildings were scratch built before the bought "trim" was added?

Yes, the buildings are standard box shapes made with my trusty cork. Not having to cut out windows and doors made them incredibly fast and effortless to make. I might make more if I have a quiet moment or two.

Hadn't thought of using that, but I suppose it gives a good rendered surface finish for peninsular buildings. If you don't mind me asking what size do you you and what do you glue it together with?
Cheers.

Probably the final update for this until the replacement French cavalry are done which could be a long time coming.

First off, some giant Empress miniatures gabions made into some entrenchment remains to give scattered cover on the tabletop.

and the cards are done!
