I have always wanted to be more of an historical gamer/painter myself, but apart from WW2 I can never make up my mind on a period. The advantage of fantasy gaming for me is that I can use the army pretty much constantly against any opponent, whereas my inner historical pedant wouldn't let me field historical armies against anachronistic enemies. I did buy a Perry French HYW army some years ago, with the thought that with a few fantasy type heroes added it would double up as a fantasy army, but the amount of cleaning up the poor casts required killed off that one. I quite fancy doing a historical Ottoman army using TAG figures and add some flying carpet cavalry and Djinn options at some point.

I think the proper term to describe these is SHITHOT!!!

The glass armor is genius and I'm totally ripping off the elvish script for shields. Great work man!

Fantastic work! I hope that gets the juices flowing for you. I'm not familiar with all those different sculpts, but they make a fine army together.

Beautiful shield and armor work on those point-ears!

Lovely painting, no doubt about it - but what REALLY pleases me is the use of models from diverse ranges/manufacturers.

I mish-mash/multi-purpose everything nowadays, and it has had a positive effect on my ability to field playable forces.

Wow them is good elves what do grace your shelves!

I can only marvel at the amazingly painted NMM and the 'glass armour' which looks great but I admit I don't have the foggiest idea what it is or how it could have any practical use.
