A bald elf just does not seem right to me.

Topknot? Ponytail? Elvis 'do'? ;)

Really nice sculpting on the additions you've made. The armour plates are really cleanly done, and those cloaks and capes are fantastic. Do you think that sculpting your Old West models has helped you when it comes to making these sorts of additions? They really look wonderful - looking forward to seeing them painted!

Thanks, Hawkeye.
Much appreciated.
 :D

I should hope that every bit of putty pushing should help you improve.
The cloaks on these, for instance, were much simplet after having learnt a few shortcuts over time.
Certainly a lot quicker than when I first tried it on my Gondorians.
 ;)

 lol
You have gotten me thinking now, with the 'Elvis do' remark.

On my Dark Elf Blood Bowl team, all the blitzers (converted from the Jordell Freshbreeze model) have huge Elvis dos - it's the hairstyle of the future, don't you know.

Now THAT I would like to see!
I am becoming seriously tempted by this whole 'Elvis' thing.
 ;)

One other thing that I should mention is that the evil mastermind, Legionnaire Bert is starting a Necromunda campaign tonight.
I am going to proxy some figures for my first outing this evening but am now staring at the RT leadpile with special attention being paid to the Iron Claw Space Pirates.....wanted to paint them for ages.

The Eldar may be pushed down the queue a little, we shall see.

Now that sounds like a plan.  :D

It's just as well you didn't tell anyone what you did with those Ming vases!

I found something that has been sitting around in a box for some years now...a beautifully painted, original Eldar Dreadnaught....

This gorgeous chap was bought on ebay almost ten years ago on a whim as I loved the paintjob so much.
No idea who painted it, but he should blend in well with the look of this crew, I reckon, so I will rebase it to match this lot.

Lovely, aint she?

I agree.
But which one?
 ;)

I hope so.
Considering that I will be painting the crew in a uniform of sorts, I may try and sneak a few of those colours into the non-uniform parts of the crew members outfits.

Brilliant stuff. :) The little bits of converting add a lot.

Is the top face on the dread Mel Brooks? ;D
