Train station board
« on: March 17, 2015, 08:04:54 AM »
During the last month I have been working on a new scratchbuilt board for Empire of the Dead. It's the first new board for Empire of the Dead that I have made for over two years and it was fun getting back to some terrain building.

This was also the first time that I made buildings from foam board and I must admit that it is a delight to work with. Previously I have made my buildings from card board and that is not always the easiest material to work with.

So yesterday I finished the board - only need to add some Empire of the Dead posters to some of the building walls. I set up the terrain as I was eager to see if I had made enough scatter terrain or if the board was still needed. I think the amount of terrain is okay now, but the real test will be when the first games have been played on the board, which will hopefully be next week.

There are a lot more images on my blog, and as always comments and critique is most welcome  :)

There's some nice period junk here is you wanted to add some resin terrain:

Do you know where I can get a non-electrical steam locomotive and wagons (HO Scale)?
