Other enemies include Wahhabis, the Ottomans, the Afghans and even the East India company. That and the miniatures work for a period of almost 70 years.

Knowing little of the period I looked at the wiki and the Napoleon Series entries on the Russo-Persian War(s). It seems that even belligerent might be a misnomer judging by accounts of their martial ability.

Superb looking miniatures whatever the case and as it seems the same figures can be used for a variety of conflicts up to and including the British 1857 campaign a very useful and adaptable set. Really nice to see manufacturers catering for the esoteric. Not sure I will venture into yet another bit of exotica but looking at the full range it is fairly tempting. Of course I might just buy one or two simply to put fishing poles in their hands.
