1/56th from Company B in the US ($55), and available via Special order in the UK via Wargames Command Post (c£30)

The mini is a Eureka Bundeswehr, which i'm using as part of my US anti-zombie squads.

I've been eyeing this up for a while, to go with my Copplestone Troopers.

Is it a multipart kit? If so, how easily does it go together?

Yours looks great btw.  8)

Cheers  :)

Its a big chunk of highly detailed resin, with a few metal add-ons - the guns, stowage, wheels and axle assembly.  IMHO the axle assembly is overly complicated - accurate yes, but overkill for wargaming....then again, i'm a kit-phobe and as a kid used to finish making an airfix spitfire, to find it was covered in glue and finger prints  ;)

Having said that, its definitely worth getting (and one is never enough), and is a joy to paint, with all that surface detail.

Wow! That looks like a great kit -- and a great paint job as well. I'm surprised that I hadn't heard about it until now. I was planning on using 1/72 scale vehicles to go with the 28mm figures--it's nice to know that this gives me another option.

1/72nd are WAY TOO SMALL for 28mm.

1/56th looks the right scale.

for moderns, you've got Chieftain Models, Sloppy Jaloppy, TAG, Company B, Force of Arms, Hobby Master, all in 1/56th (HM might be 1/50th?).  S&S Models are 1/60th which is pretty damn close.

 ;)

Yeah, I would agree that 1/72 is way too small normally. However, the 1/72 prepaints that are out there are typically cheap and overscale anyhow. They don't look too bad on the table.

Also, I have a rule that is strictly enforced around the gaming table--the first person to comment that the figures are not in scale with the vehicles ends up buying beer for everyone else around the table for the rest of the night. Makes for a much more entertaining gaming session.  :D

Imprint Miniatures do some good looking 1/50 modern vehicles.
