« on: September 28, 2008, 11:41:12 AM »
My newest project: Lucky Luke in 28mm. Models are lead and made by Editions Atlas in France.

The hero:

The dog (Rantanplan):

The Daltons. Not great paintjobs, but still a marginal improvement over the factory paintjobs.

These are great.  :)

Waht was the tallest Dalton called? Was it Averil? I seem to remember him being something of a chef in the comic I have.

Averell, I think. He was the dumbest and the gentlest of the lot. :)
Joe (the little one) is the leader and the meanest.
I forgot the names for the other two as they always seemed secundary.

That's him. I believe that he and Rantanplan/Rin Tin Can became friends in Dalton City, even though he did feed the poor dog on soap for some reason.

I've looked at your site and the painting is really far more realistic by a mile than the originals.

It all looks a bit strange to me, are you going to do games with them?

looks like fun though  :D

Well, the original models are intended for display and I guess that will be the main role mine will serve as well. But I'm basing them all on 20mm round bases and there's no reason I shouldn't be able to play a skirmish game with them.

Just found this excellent free download of the Lucky Luke Town in paper. ;D

This should greatly aid in turning those building fronts in full buildings (or possibly pass on them and create my own from scratch).
