I will probably pick it up either way too. Osprey game rules are priced so that they are easy enough to pick up even as impulse purchases.

Hi guys,

I'll post some tidbits about Black Ops a little further down the line - there's a long way to go before it's due for release!

As for supporting games post-release, we're always looking to improve, so if there are specific additional supporting materials in demand, let me know! It's always worth checking the Osprey Wargames Resources page (see my signature) - there's a fair bit of stuff up there, including a full campaign and mythical creature rules for Ronin and three new Pantheon lists for Of Gods and Mortals. Many of the authors are also putting out additional material - Craig and Charles do huge amounts for In Her Majesty's Name on this forum and on their blog, and Dan Mersey is doing likewise for his games.

Cheers!

All I mean by support is I would love further supplements or expansions for the games. They are fine just like they are dont get me wrong but they always leave me wanting just a little bit more.  :). The mythical creatures expansion for Ronin was a great example of support however. I only wish that Northstar would release a Korean and Chinese Buntai for Ronin. But I imagine that probably wouldn't make sense financially. But one can hope.

I haven't tried in her majesty's name yet but it sounds like its worth looking at.

Looking at what you have said however it seems like my comment may be misinformed and i may have to rethink it.

It is and with three books it is well supported. It shows, that this one seems to be very good sold until now.

Hello, thanks for comment. Actually if Dan Mersey is sharing tidbits for his games on hos pages, you have to know his pages ;-)

I dont think there is realy reason for any additional support. We shall discuss new units for Lion Rampant, new traits for AFOKF. But there is no need in my point of view in any officiality. So you just house rule it. The rules are writen in the way to be easily modified to support your style. If you need great support (actually Northstar are selling those OWG inspired bundless on their own, no? ) with miniatues, laser cut tokens, etc and rulez heavy games, I don't think OWG is game for you.

IHMN is great. My blog is mainly about my IHMN games with my son, if you're interested in seeing some battle reports and companies.
