With that construction team you pretty much have what you need to build the 3 gorges dam in a week !

The assorted robots are really great, just the perfect addition as NPCs in an urban game or as objectives in a "wack a bot" game (the hammerbots would be just perfect for that).

They look excellent - and well done for having the patience to tackle those Sedition Wars minis (I looked them over and just dumped them back into the box with some disappointment when I got mine! :( )

Your painting on the mega minis is great!  I feel motivated to find mine and throw them in the bin.  lol

The sedition stuff leaves me cold.  Your job is still nice though.  :-X

Thanks for the feedback folks :)

I do love this little theme that you have going on here.

I would very much like to get stuck into some more civilian types for this project next, but I have a few other things to finish first.  Who knows what I will be in the mood to paint after those.  I would like to tackle some of the Spacelords and Cobalt civilians that I have though.

I have the menial 'bots lined up for potential use in your cyberpunk game at BOYL Asslessman.  In some respects this entire thread is suitable for that really I think.

Thanks Major.  Im going to avoid the potential for derail that discussing the SW figs could cause, other than to say that they worked out for this project :)

The sculpts are a bit crude, but the range appeals to me a lot.  They are also small and therefore fast to paint: I really enjoyed painting them.

I dont remember seeing your Megamini bots Doctor.  I have come across a few people looking for the range since it went OOP, so definitely dont bin them ;)

They have some nice robot figures
http://www.zombiesmith.com/collections/a7-d12-airlock-7-docking-lvl-12

That range is great and I am a fan of PFs sculpts.  Some day I will gather the cash to buy the lot... some day.

Meanwhile, I decided to get apolitical and put together a small number of absurd protester models for this project.  This first one is a sandwich board guy (I think that the model originally came from Eureka) with the addition of a GW head.

The slogan on the model is deliberately moronic and meaningless: my toy soldiers are for fun and politics isnt fun (or even allowed on this forum, I am happy to say).  That nihilistic approach fits in well with the Mega City One setting anyway.

I have three more protesters lined up.  They will make this guy seem a little less lonely next time.

The blog post is here.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks.  It is a super shit song, but it was important to me that I wasnt pushing any actual real life agenda with this guy, intentionally or otherwise.  Associating with 2 Unlimited removed all concerns about being potentially taken seriously ;)

Just brilliant. Inspires me to make some notes for a future protester mob of my own, probably from the SPCLR (Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Large Rodents) or some other such grassroots astroturf extremist movement... :D
