Is there a model of the Fiat CR.32?
« on: September 27, 2008, 10:45:50 AM »
Hi!

Does anyone know if there's a 1/48 model available of the [wiki]Fiat CR.32[/wiki]?

Thanks
Jase

Super aircraft that.

I've searched for something for the 15mm or 20mm SCW or North Africa Italians WWII.

Bersaglieri, clunky likkel tanks, and bi-planes nothing says, "blast me to bits" than those.  ;)
I'd suppose the 1:48 would work for 25mm, perhaps.

Here's a superb list of aircraft for the SCW.  A very large portion of them are/were available in 1/72 scale which will work well for 20mm.  Most of the Italian aircraft listed were also used in North Africa and the Middle East.  Don't forget that the Règia Aeronautica also flew several German aircraft, including the Bf109 and Stuka.

The Smer 1:48 version pops up frequently on Ebay. Cheap as chips.

For 1/72 I've seen the Supermodel version in my local hobby store. Not easy to find.
