For quite some time now I've been contemplating making a decision to try & attempt doing things more quickly, in a timely fashion, circumstances permitting, weather dependent, whenever possible, or, perhaps, convenient.

I built a complete Temple of Malkuth with the altar dish, floor, pillars and four holy creatures as it was a nexus for the players where Sandalphon could talk to them and I had a few bits and bobs for some of the others but, mainly just the Archangels.

It grew from my Ars Magica campaign where the players took the journey of the Fool through a Tarot deck, both major and minor arcana. They then visited the elemental planes to meet the Elemental Kings (I made them in miniature) and, finally, reached the Temple of Malkuth. From there they trod the paths of the tree before going to Yesod. They completed the first quests in Yesod but the campaign stalled there due to lack of time. As I mentioned, it took over 5 years of playing every week to get that far.

Here are some of my 3D Tarot cards they met and interacted with:

The gallery of all of them is here:

Although some, like the planned clock work Wheel of Fortune never got made.

All very nice models and some great ideas and conversions, matakishi. :)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Neopaganism and Tarot qualify this topic as "fantasy", so I moved it here. No offence.

Although the game may not have been a success, the creations you produced for it are WONDERFUL, IMAGINATIVE pieces. I love the Fool...that seems appropriate. VERY WELL DONE!

Creative and interesting stuff. I read and collected Tarot cards many years ago, just as a pastime. Very cool to see them in miniature!!!

Wow! Lovely mini-dioramas each of them, and a great idea.

(Quick question, the Hermit figure, what/who is he and is the figure still being made/sold? I'm currently reading the stories that inspired the 7th son movie, and he would make a great Spook)

He started out as a Mithril Gandalf and had his hat changed to a hood and a lantern made and added to his staff.

i missed this thread when it started but I'm pleased that I've caught it now. I really do like the concept of the Tarot vignettes, and the ones that you have shown have been very skillfully done.

The crone figure on the leading model was originally by Pendragon I believe and called "Troll Witch". I bought a couple back in the early 80's and adopted the name for my then mother-in-law.

Gorgeous work, as expected from you ;).  I never played Ars Magica but love the idea of a tarot landscape to explore.  Great inspiration.  Thanks.
This is my boomstick!

It doesn't have to be Ars Magica, any rule system would do probably.

Here are a couple more for those that didn't follow the gallery link.

I really must take some better photos of these, my camera was so crappy back then :)
I realise I don't have pictures of the minor arcana, some of which were just as involved as the majors. I'll sort something out in the near future.
