Thanks chaps. All the poses were selected by Mike himself. All credit for this dynamic looking range must go to Mike.

Oh my, those Sikhs have to be some of Paul's best work.

Perhaps some for a TMWWBK game next year, eh Dave ;)

Another one who thought he'd got enough figures for the Mutiny but how can I resist those Sikhs, for starters?

And the website is shaping up already as a great resource - OOB and a painting guide for Havelock's Column makes things so easy for us - where else could one deploy such a great sounding unit as Maude's Improvised Bullock Battery?

Rules? I've seen Black Powder used quite successfully for larger IM games, and Osprey are planning a colonial set for 2016 that would cover the period. For large-scale skirmishes I use an adaptation of the 'Sharp Practice' TFL rules called 'War Without Mercy' written by Rolf Gein - not yet published (nag Richard at TFL!) but a draft version can be found at the (currently largely inactive) play test Yahoo group of the same name. Maybe it's time to revive that particular project.

Those sikhs  :o

Good grief.

They have to be amongst your best work to date Paul. Gorgeous.

(The Brits, strangely, I'm not so keen on - maybe just a bit too dynamic for my tastes... But that's just me... )

But based on those superb sikhs, I can only imagine how wonderful the Highlanders are going to be  :-*

...and off course the big questions...for those of us with a good number of Mutineer Miniatures is...

...how do they compare size wise for compatibility? The Mutineer are a touch large but I have used a few perry Carlists war minis and they just get by. Are these bigger than Perry's but maybe not as big as Mutineer and thus probably usable when mixed together?

Cheers

Also would you consider doing a n officer pack? one of my favourite things about the mutiny range is how eclectic and individual the officers could be.

I have always wondered about the Mutiny being done as a skirmish / rpg with characters wandering around Delhi looking for loot or kidnapped damsels, etc. Extra characters and personalities would be very nice indeed.

The Highlanders are uniformed as the infantry already released. This is based on Mike's detailed research. You will have to wait a little longer for the full kilt jobbies.

To repeat a question I just left on the ID website: Would European officers be using revolvers at this point in time, as opposed to horse pistols?

Yep. Infact if you check the command pack just released one of the officers is carrying a revolver.

Really nice figs so far. Sepoy rules does the Cawnpore campaign in a series of battles. How does War Without Mercy play? I haven't made much progress on my mutiny collection, as I'm just not sure there is a decent set of rules.
